02.06.2019: Beineu – Qoʻngʻirot

We took off early in order to get some more of the less hot morning hours. Directly after exiting Beineu, the road was drastically different from yesterday. No more perfect tarmac and smooth rides. Instead, we were greeted by deep sand, unclear paths and the main road still being under construction. In the morning we woke up before the others. As our plan was to get a Kazakh sim card before leaving the city, we took care of that at first. Second stop was a petrol station to fill up for the day. Sleeping in the port had been so-so. At some point there were some dogs barking and there were new trucks arriving every 15 minutes. But thanks to earplugs it wasn't that bad.
